The British Army Air Corps' (AAC's) newly acquired Boeing AH-64E (Version 6) Apache Guardian attack helicopter has marked its operational debut after the type participated in Exercise Talon Guardian.
Performed by the AAC's 3 Regiment, Exercise Talon Guardian - a two-week training operation - saw the unit fly a total of 1,500km, placing its personnel and assets at three different locations, from which they were able to plan and execute attack missions and maintain the operational readiness of the new AH-64E.

Des aéronefs sans moteur RR, la grande-Bretagne est définitivement sur le déclin
Il me semble que RR a revendu sa participation à la RTM322 (comme pour l'Adour si j'ai bien suivi). Ce n'est donc plus une turbine RR mais une Turbomeca !
La coopération ne doit pas trop les intéresser !

Ils étaient pas censé être plus performant avec les moteurs RR ?
La Corée du sud va abandonner l'achat de 36 ah-64 supplémentaires jugeant que ces appareils sont trop vulnérables et vu l'importance accrue des drones sur le champ de bataille
Yu Yong-weon, a member of South Korea’s National Assembly belonging to the People Power Party, told The Korea Times that the vulnerability of helicopters to proliferated air defenses and loitering munitions/drones that have been showcased to the world in Ukraine spurred the decision. Yu stated: “Drones and smart systems are redefining modern battlefields… Rather than clinging to expensive legacy platforms, we must invest in capabilities that reflect the future of warfare.”
