J'ai un EDTracker, version non pro à vendre.

Payé 21.96£ me 30/4/2020.

3 DOF, détection de mouvement par magnétomètre. Il y a donc un léger drift avec le temps, mais au moins il ne part pas en sucette complet comme peut le faire un TrackIR quand il ne détecte plus les réflecteurs / LEDs IR.
Par contre, pas de mouvement de translation à moins de le simuler, il y a uniquement les trois rotations RX/RY/RZ

J'en ai un dont je suis assez content, et ça pourrait peut-être m'intéresser. J'ai cependant une question peut-être idiote : quelle est la différence en principe avec une version "Pro" ?

Bonne question… Je crois que la version Pro a un GUI propre et un tracking un peu différent ?

J’ai cette version aussi, avec son logiciel c’est un peu plus facile à utiliser.

With the Pro the aim was usability and robustness; so no arduino drivers needed (Pro is pure plug and play like any joystick) and it has a much sturdier USB connector. There are some recent improvements in the firmware which improve stability at the extremes (look hard left/right) which we've been able to achieve using the better magnetometer on the Pro but for most users it's marginal.

The Pro UI also has few neat features like ability to save settings as game profiles (e.g. one for ED another for opentrack).

If you can do a bit of soldering and want to learn and get some self satisfaction then go for a DIY. Check out Adafruits guides to soldering first though. We've seen some 'interesting' soldering over at EDTracker Customer Support

oh and I've just been blown away by EDTracker + Nvidia 3D vision, but that's another story...
